Join us for a fun family event by the Friends of Lake Forest Parks and Recreation Foundation. Food, kids activities, fireworks and concert.

Spend your 4th with a picnic under the stars at Deerpath Community Park. Music lineup this year are double headliners Bella Cain (top 40 country) and Liverpool Legends (beatles tribute band). At 9:40pm, the greatest fireworks display on the North Shore begins filling the skies. A variety of food, desserts, beer, wine, soft drinks and water will be available for sale, or bring your own.

Proceeds from the event help support the enhancement of Lake Forest Parks & Recreation Department’s programs, services, facilities and need-based activity scholarships for families in the community.  Through funds raised by tax-deductible donations, the Fred Jackson Annual Golf Classic, Festival & Fireworks, Oktoberfest and Dinner with Santa events, the Friends have provided substantial funding dedicated to beautify parks, make structural improvements and expand recreational programming.
